I recently added an IFTTT integration to Slack to read the FRC Blog’s RSS feed and send a message when there is a new post.
It got me thinking, perhaps the [FRC Blog] posts can be automated. This seems like it may be a bit out of date but I would guess it is a fairly simple integration to build.
Unnecessary, yes. Helpful anyways, I think yes.
Hey man, don’t put me out of a job. I have a family to feed.
Some of us have had to pick up some of the slack recently. Perhaps your family would be better fed if you made it your mission to be the first to post, always.

Just an aside, doesn’t Slack already have their own RSS feed integration?
Yes it does. However, we’re already using IFTTT for other things and there’s a 10 integration maximum in free workspaces.
