If anybody is near Boston tomorrow you may want to check out the Boston Greenfest. It “celebrates the many ways we can create a better world by greening our lives and our communities.” It is being held at the town hall plaza from 11 to 8. I just found out that we will have our 2010 robot there from 12 to 5 to show and discuss FIRST to any who are interested, and I would love to have people from other teams come and visit. All I know about it is from the website: http://bostongreenfest.org/index.html
Greenfest turned out to be a very enjoyable place to be. FIRST was well represented on Saturday with us from OzRam, 238 from Memorial in Manchester, 246 from BU Academy and 3870 from Providence, RI. Different teams were there Friday. There was a constant flow of people wanting info on the robots and FIRST. It was great to meet Steve Cremer. Thanks for organizing this. And Thanks to the people at Greenfest for organizing an event that had much interesting to look at.
We (1058) were there on Friday, and we saw a good amount of attention, up until a massive rainstorm around 2:30 which kinda dampened the rest of the day
