Mine was scouting…
the lightning was amazing…all the little gear displays were awesome as well
The lightning show was a bunch of fun. I was the volunteer.
My favorite part was just walking around seeing all the different FIRST teams having a blast. Is there anything cooler than robotics teams playing around in a Museum of Science?
Well, I’ve been to the MoS many many times, and it’s the electricity show that keeps me coming back. However, I never go without stoping by the Mathematica room.
A lot of the rest of them are designed for much younger childeren, and they lose their charm after the 1st or 2nd visit.
Considering how it went, I might have to say that it was my favorite event or exhibit. I did like the Darwin exhibit though.
My favorite part of the museum was the R2-D2 mailbox out front
really; i didn’t even notice that that was there. next time that i go, i will look for it.
Mathmatica was pretty cool, I could watch the balls swirling around in circles for at least 1/2 hour. It was a pretty cool exhibit, intending to make math fun. Of course the lightning show was fun.
It’s a temporary promotion by the USPS to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the release of the first Star Wars movie. I don’t know if it’s unique to Boston or not, but they’re all over. I believe that a stamp is being released as well.
Unfortunately, I was a bit late to arrive and I missed the lightning show. However, I loved the machines/gears section. The square gears were very cool.

I noticed that also. And so did my team when I yelled, “I WANT ONE!!!”
Yeah, the MoS was fun. It seems to have lost some of the wow factor it had back when I was younger, but still a good time. The most memorable part of the event, though, was definitely the ride back to campus… 10 people. 1 Isuzu.
