Greetings CD Community,
After several years of teaching Robotics, Computer Science and Mathematics, I have decided to leave the teaching profession.
Together with a former 1310 student, Tony Lam, we will be opening a new educational robotics lab in Toronto.
We will be offering after-school and weekend robotics workshops with a lot of familiar FRC/VEX content. The workshops are for students 10 and up, and are 80-minutes in length.
The hope is we will be able to reach even more students to experience robotics in a meaningful way.
We’re really excited about this new venture, but this launch has come at a very interesting time. My wife and I welcomed our first child in September, and we are “boot-strapping” this initiative financially.
We put together a homebrew KickStarter to reach out to the community. We could use all the support we can get, and in return we have some nice perks to offer in return (especially if you, or someone you know is in the Toronto area).
