Brazilian Proud - EMBRAER [Off topic]

Yesterday on our city (São José dos Campos - SP), EMBRAER did the Roll-Out of its new generation of aircraft, the E2 family.

EMBRAER is one of the biggest aircraft manufactures of the world and it was born and based on our city.

We have many former members of our Team Cephatron #1860 working on EMBRAER and many members of our partners and older brother the ETEPTeam #1382 working there too.

We are proud to be part of it.

Here are some links with the Roll-out event yesterday.

Hope you like it as much as I did

P.S. DEAN KAMEN HAS An EMBRAER PEHNOM 300, HE VISITED OUR TEAM THE WEEK HE CAME TO RECEIVE HIS NEW PLANE.

Good to see a team from my home country here. VAI BRASIL

and what an awesome plane. i’m a fan of aircraft and that opening video gave me chills :smiley:

The FRC teams sponsored by UTC Aerospace Systems and UTC Pratt & Whitney celebrates with you!!

Our content on your E2 family:

Pratt & Whitney PW1900G Geared Turbofan engines;
UTAS - Nacelles for the PW1900Gs;
UTAS - Ram Air Turbine;
UTAS Engine & Environmental Controls - engine starter, fuel controls, engine actuation, engine controls;
UTAS Interiors - evacuation slides;
UTAS Landing Systems - wheels and brakes; and
UTAS Sensors & Integrated Systems (SIS) - air data sensors & systems, fire protection systems, ice detection systems and wipers.

I fly often for business, usually on smaller jets like the ERJ145 or E170, both of which are good aircraft. From an engineering view, the development of a completey new airframe is like giving birth, only it hurts more :ahh:

Brazil and Embraer are rightly very proud of this new line, I wish them much success.
