So fun story…during the last two minutes of a meeting yesterday someone tipped the robot chassis to figure out where a nut came from. In doing that, the battery fell out and ripped the ethernet cable out of our Limelight. It was at the very last second and I didn’t get to really inspect it, but it looked like the pins inside were definitely bent, possibly broken. If the pins are bent, do you think it’s plausible to do some surgery to get them back to their original state, or would any part of trying that be unsafe, such as if we get it to work but it seems a little…off. We have another, but at the price it is at I would love to not just forget about this possibly broken one.
