This weekend Team 246, Boston University Overclocked, had an open workshop to support all the new teams that have been founded in Boston over the past couple of years. In total, we helped to build and ship 18 robots this morning!

The photos are pretty spectacular, and the whole thing is documented in the first two photo albums here: http://www.imagestation.com/members/frc246

There’s nothing quite like having more than a dozen FIRST teams and many many FIRSTers in one building, all franticly working together to make everyone elses robots work! Thanks to everyone who showed up and made this weekend an unforgettable weekend!

It’s nice to see that these rookie and second year teams are getting along fine.

We’ve had three working in the NUTRONS lab for about a week.

What a great week it was for everyone! It was absolutely wonderful to see these rookies and sophomores, most of whom we’ve been working with for the entire season (or two, in some cases!) really pull through and come up with some pretty amazing creations! If anything, F.I.R.S.T. definitely seems to be a testament to teamwork and cooperation and… gracious professionalism!!! (had to say it).

I can’t wait to see what the rest of Boston has to offer!

Good luck to all the Boston teams!
