Bubble Teams - NE District Championship

Hi Everyone,

As a bubble Team, we are trying to figure out as early as possible what qualified teams have decline to get a better gage on if we will get in…

If teams could provide any intel on if they know of teams, or if they themselves have decline that would be awesome!

I can get the ball rolling… assuming decisions have not changed, Team 190 has opted out

IIRC, 236 is not attending DCMP as they already have a championship slot as a HoF team.

They attended DCMP in 2015, so unless they say something, assume they’re going.

As our pit neighbors (236) were loading out from Hartford their lead mentor told me “See you in St. Louis”. Interpret that as you’d like.

236 already declined their DCMP invitation.

It appears that team up to 64th place get in with 4909 being in that spot along with the two chairmans winners below them. Which make up for 190 and 236

Here’s what we know:

The acceptance deadline is 48 hours from notification. Presumably, most teams found out around 6-7 PM on Sunday. So this evening we will know more.

When a team qualifies, they are added to the registration list until they decline, and then they are removed. If a team that “should be” on the list is not there, it means they declined.

So far, we can see that 236 and 190 are not on the list - they declined. 4909 is on the list, despite being not initially qualified - they were extended an invitation after a team declined, which they have since accepted. (Note: we know they have accepted due to posts on CD, not their presence on this list - they are added to this list upon being invited)

Keep an eye on both of these lists to try and infer how close you are to getting in, and be ready to travel with less than 24 hours notice…

I’ll put an end to the speculation here. Our mentors decided not to go to DCMP, so hopefully we will see you all at north champs.
