Build/Mechanical teams after build and integration

After the robot design has been chosen, the mechanical/build sub-teams work on building the mechanisms chosen.
After these have been built, the programming and electrical sub-teams (with the presence of the mechanical/build sub-teams) integrate the electricity and the codes that have been created to fit the actions the mechanisms will do. Conclusions are made from the results of various tests made on the systems. Sometimes, the mechanical sub-teams need to maintain the systems and fix or upgrade any part of their mechanisms so that undesired results found in the integration step will no longer become (and in very rare circumstances, they must rebuild their design from the begining).

I’m not saying that we’re not going to have these things happen to us, but I’m interested in knowing what the mechanical sub-teams usually do/can do in the very last weeks after integration has been complete for their systems?
