I miss my nieces and nephews so I read books to them everyday. Since it’s Saturday, I figured I would read a really fun book and we could make a cardboard awesome robot at home.
I figured everyone in FIRST could use a pick-me-up right now - so feel free to tune in on Facebook and then share your cardboard robot in this thread.
Alright! Part 1 has been posted. We go through putting our robot together, testing motion, creating vision, adding inputs and outputs, plus internal storage!
We’ll be doing Displays, more storage, and attachments at 2:30pm ET!
Current Status: Vision system complete, input and output units created, an additional trash collecting output pocket designed and assembled, an input unit for chocolates and Reese’s to enter through is done, I have a button made from wax, some “bumper stickers”, and a blue tooth speaker for rocking out!
Next steps include adding a “hat like unit”, creating displays, more buttons AND storage!
