Buying Chain Suggestion

Our team is planning to use chain from #35 to #25h next season. We want to buy at WCP, and wonder whether its chain tensioners and chain tool for 25 is also suitable for #25h.
And if there is any recommend tool or something else, please feel free to tell me.

The Dark Soul chain tool that WCP sells is the best I’ve used, and will work for 25h. The “h” stands for “heavy” which means thicker sideplates, but it’ll still work. I’d recommend buying a few chain tools, because its possible to bend fhe pin that actually pressed fhe link in/out and you don’t wanna get caught halfway through and have to buy a new one!

Thank you!
However, isn’t DarkSoul 25 Chain Break sold by Andymark?

Should I buy two DarkSoul or a DarkSoul with some Pin Replacement Kit For 25 Chain Break Tool?

You’re totally right! WCP makes a very similar one, which is the one I’ve used.

If you have the money for it I’d just buy 2, sometimes you’ve got 2 people who need to be working on chain. In a pinch 1 + pin replacement works.

For chain breaks, both the Dark Soul and the WCP tool are excellent and work much better than most of the other tools you’ll find on the market. But definitely get the replacement pins (two or three is a good idea.)

The chain tensioners are fantastic, especially if you’re looking at the turnbuckle design. We used four of these on our two arm rotation chains this year and they kept the chain very tight through a lot of matches without needing adjustment. Of course, like with all in-line tensioners, they do have their limits. They can’t pass over sprockets, so they’re use is limited to chain runs where you have a section that never needs to do that. But for their use-cases, they work really well.

Teaser for this weeks release!….

Updated design, one piece pins and option to purchase all the pins/screws separately. Nifty Charlie/corgi land yard as well!!!

What’s the difference between the #25 breaker on the left, and the #25 breaker on the right? The one on the left seems thicker.

Dual sided 25/35 chain all in one.

The lanyard is a 200 iq addition. I don’t know why we didn’t think of it.
