We will likely remove our buddy climb for our next event. I still like the idea but it just ain’t the thing this year. There are other places to put effort that pay off more. Bye, buddy.

I loved your buddy climb concept and am sad to see it go. Is there a specific reason from your time at Utah this weekend?
For the useless FRC statistics thread: how many buddy climbers were never used this season, or failed.

I still really like the concept too, and it’s nice to have a clean design that can carry another robot and only weighs less than a pound itself. That part still feels good; however, when looking at the risk and reward, the points lost for a failure were too great, and it relies on some careful driving by partners.
