We are designing a cable lift for the first time this year and are wondering what actual cables do people use? The cable available on McMaster is much too large so we were wondering what good options are available.
Lots of discussion on this already, 1/8 inch dyneema rope seems to be the favorite. We are using it for the first time and have been happy so far.
We used Steel wire and it worked flawlessly, we never had to take it apart entire 2018.
