im connecting the cam to the computer and in the CMUcam2GUI but the softwere noy found the cam
Make sure the backup battery is fully charged, make sure the camera is plugged into the PWM but IS NOT plugged into the TTL. Make sure the camera is on. Should work!
you also need to plug a DB9 cable between your camera and the back of your PC.
with these cameras you can either view the picture of the captured video (via the DB9 connector) … OR … use the TTL converter and no DB9 to track a green light.
eh?
also make sure that your computer is reading the port used that it is connected to and select the right port.
When you plug it into the camera, go to control panel --> System --> Hardware --> device manager look at the COM and ports and see where its plugged in. You have to tell the GUI where to look for the camera.
Ok, we got the GUI working, did grab frame etc. What are we supposed to do now?
Just use it to focus the camera.
You can also see and measure the camera’s field of view for yourselves.
