We used the raspberrypi last year and have improved the code (c++) this year. We now have a custom dashboard with a UDP socket for sending our video, and are getting 60fps at 320x240, with 100ms or so latency, using 2.5mpbs. I’m curious how this compares to the quality/latency with the provided tools of WPLIB and GRIP, to see if our efforts are for any use.
I haven’t used a camera recently but I would like to note that at competition you will be limited in speeds. When you program your radio you set it to max speeds at competition. With the speed limits idk if you will get a very high fps.
