we have a limelight and using the default dashboard, but the video stream won’t show up. anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
Just add a parameter(0 for the first camera) to StartautoCapther(),it may work normally.
do you know the labview to write that?
@roy?
I don’t know how to write it in Labview , we programmed it with cpp.
There is no code needed to see the stream in labview you just need to have the camera configured with the right IP address and programmed to your team number(check in settings under limelight set up), are you able to see the stream at the IP address in a web browser?
Yes we can. We can view he stream using limelight 1 but not limelight 2 (on dashboard).
and network settings are exactly the same between the two
Ok, sorry that didn’t help… that was my issue earlier this week. Somehow the team number got reconfigured. Not sure about using two IP address cameras, should they be exactly the same?
@klhutchi we tried that it still didn’t worry. and t’s ok any help you guys can give use would be great!
Hey Connor,
I have a few questions that should help us solve this:
- Are you using 2019.4 on your LL2?
- Can you navigate to the web interface and make sure your team number matches the RIO, dashboard, and radio team numbers?
- Are you connecting both LL1 and LL2 to the network at the same time?
- In the variables tab in the default dashboard, do you see a limelight table with frequently changing variables?
- Does the stream work on SmartDashboard or Shuffleboard?
Thanks,
Brandon

No 2019.2 yes it does no yes no
Got it. 2019.2 actually introduced a bug that broke the default dashboard stream. If you reflash with the newest software, you should be set.
Well after two hours of debugging, we got it. ya that was the problem. thanks guys! have a good season and see y’all at Utah!
