Can AM Sport be faced mounted?

I have been looking on the AndyMark site and in CD, but haven’t found the answer.

Can the AM Sport Gearbox be face mounted? Everything seems to suggest that they are mounted on the sides.

Spectrum’s Guide to the FRC MCC shows a couple more face-mounting options for the 57 Sport on Page 6. (You should read the whole thing, though. I learned a lot of dope tricks from it.)
