At least a couple scouting apps make data available for everybody:
- The Purple Standard is probably the most advanced. They have an API that they are trying to get integrated into all the scouting systems. The basic idea is that if you scout just a couple matches at an event, you get to see all the data from all teams scouting at that event. As far as I know, only their own system currently uses the API though.
- Lovat makes all scouting data public. However, it is only available though the mobile app, and only to users that are assigned the “lead scouter” role.
- Viper has a public data section where we mostly share off-season scouting data that my team collects. We are looking at ways that we can expand this and let other teams contribute.
