Hello I’m a programmer on team 5130 and I’m currently stuck. We use the limelight 2 and just the other day we statically set the Ip on it and were following through the documentation provided by limelight, we had no problems and were trying to figure out how to read April tags. Then when I came in today suddenly the limelight finder could no longer find the limelight and I was unable to connect to it in any way, I’ve updated the image multiple times, reset the Ip on the limelight and our rio multiple times. I spent the whole day trying to figure it out with no luck. I’m relatively new to programming and any help would be amazing thank you!
What is your hardware setup? Radio? Network Switch? Direct Ethernet Cable or ?
Do you see activity on the Ethernet connector leds?
We use Power over Ethernet through our PDP and the new radios Aux 1 port
It seems like you are using your radio’s second port which might be caussing the issue.
The new radio doesn’t have those issues. That was specific to the old radio.
I had it wired Incorrectly, I had a PoE cable running from the radio not to it, so once I changed that and just used a normal ethernet cable from Aux 1 to the limelight that solved the problem
Does the limelight show any sign of activity when it is powered after flashing and having the team number etc set.? Front leds or Ethernet LEDs?
