Are the 2.25" team buttons allowed in carry-ons by TSA? The team flying to Houston and has to pay for checked luggage - so they think they can split the buttons between several kids’ backpacks.
Has anyone had a problem? THANK YOU

I went back home with a 2 gallon bag full of pins/buttons/lanyards etc. last year, TSA didn’t care

This site doesn’t list buttons specifically but bobby pins are allowed which I would put as similar. I’ve had buttons in my backpack before but idk about 2000 of them.
@AskTSA on Twitter is very helpful
