Can you remove a null hatch

Can you remove a null hatch from your team and place it on to the opponents side. Technically it never says anything about placing game pieces on to the opponents side.

From what I saw, it seems as the null hatch are hard mounted.

Unfortunately no, the null hatches are hooked on to the ports and are unable to be removed without breaking the whole ship.

This was shown during the Deeper Space segment of kickoff. It is disappointing that it is not mentioned elsewhere.
