We have the MK4 L3 modules with CTRE CANCoders on them. We are using the Absolute Position of the CANCoder to enable auto-wheel-reset so that the wheels jump to their original position even after power cycles. To enable this, we would manually reset it once per year (theoretically) and record the absolute position and offset everything by that. The problem is that the magnet seems to shift slightly and that eventually ruins the offsets we found and we have to retune every week. We are concerned that this small shift will ruin performance at competition.
What are solutions we can implement to prevent this? The only thing we came up with was to locktite the magnet in the pocket on the module.
