Can't Permanently Deploy From WindRiver

When I select the Deploy option from the FIRST menu in WindRiver, the process never finishes. WindRiver doesn’t freeze or hang, but the Deploying… window never goes away and can’t be cancelled.

Oddly, when I FTP into the cRIO, I can see that it successfully creates the FRC_UserProgram.out file, but it remains empty (0 bytes.) Undeploy works just fine.

Does the file you are asking to FTP actually exist?

Have you set up the path to the file correctly in the Workbench settings as described here?

Remember if you change projects, to change the First downloader preferences. Try turning off windows firewall. Ensure that the target is connected by the fact that you can see the running processes. You could try manually ftp’ing the file to make sure it can write to the crio.

The path is correct, the FIRST Downloader settings are correct, and I can manually copy the .out file to the cRIO. I guess I haven’t checked the firewall in detail, but as I said before, Undeploy works fine, so this doesn’t seem like a firewall issue at all.
