Can't see PDH when connected to it via USB C

We cannot see our REV PDH when connected to it via USB C. If we connect to a SparkMax we can see it via the CAN Bus, but the Rev client says no hardware detected when connected directly to the PDH.
We have updated it to the latest firmware.
Status light is flashing purple.

Anyone else with this issue? Fixes?

This happens pretty often with most of our REV hardware. Closing and reopening the client usually fixes the problem.

you could also try recovery mode, that usually forces things to work

We have done that several times to no avail.

Once in recovery mode what would we need to do?

once in recovery mode, you would select the device type and update to the latest firmware. if that doesn’t work, rev support is really helpful

I believe this is a computer issue, not a PDH issue. This issue happened on one of our computers. When checking the Windows device manager panel (devmgmt.msc) you can see that the PDH has no driver installed, while the SPARK MAX works fine. You have to try to get Windows to install the drivers. You might want to try uninstalling the device (usually that one is expanded with a warning sign) and rebooting,

I had this issue on three different computers with a brand new PDH. I was able to put the device in recovery mode and flash firmware but it still wouldn’t show up normally afterwards. Restarting the computer solved the issue.
