Will you be streaming the workshops at all this year? Some Bay Area teams will likely be unable to go due to conflict with CalGames (whenever that event gets locked in for dates, they’re still deciding between Oct. 7-9 and 14-16), but we would love to still have the opportunity to learn from the amazing resources CCC provides!
The Capital City Classic will be held on October 14th-16th at Cosumnes Oaks High School in Elk Grove, California. Please go to www.capitalcityclassic.org for details about the tournament.
If your team wishes to compete in the tournament, the registration fee will be $350. More information about the workshops will be released at a later date.
Due to the uncertainty of how COVID-19 will affect the event (including the number of spaces available), the registration process for Capital City Classic 2022 is different from previous years. More information about COVID safety protocols will be provided at a later date. Please email us at info@capitalcityclassic.org if you have specific COVID concerns (personal or school requirements) that you would like us to consider while drafting our safety protocols.
Please fill out this application by 11:59 PM (PDT) August 26, 2022. Applications received will be used to create a priority list as follows:
a) First priority: Rookie teams;
b) Second priority: Returning teams that did not get to compete in a Regional in 2022;
c) Third priority: All other applications received by the deadline above; and
d) Fourth priority: Applications received after the deadline above. Note: Within each priority, available spaces will be offered in the order of application.
We anticipate that we will start offering spaces September 1st. Once accepted, an invoice will be sent to your registration email (note: if applying for a scholarship you will be notified at this time of its status).
a) The invoice must be paid within 7 days or your space will be offered to another team.
c) If you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible.
Once the invoice has been paid you will receive an official welcome email with further details.
Teams withdrawing and requesting a refund before September 14th will receive a FULL refund less the payment processors service fee (details about this will be provided at payment).
Teams withdrawing and requesting a refund on or after September 14th and before September 30th will receive a 50% refund if we are able to fill the slot with another team; otherwise, no refund will be offered.
Teams withdrawing on/after September 30th will not receive a refund.
Teams not checking at the event by 8:00am on Saturday, October 15 will be dropped from the event and will NOT receive a refund.
If the tournament is canceled, all teams will receive a FULL refund.
If your team must withdraw from the tournament, please email us as soon as possible at info@capitalcityclassic.org.
