2: Mechanisms for Destination: Deep Space
3: Full robots
Signup below with your category. Designs will be submitted as .png renders and animations in .mp4. You will be judged by voting and points based on creativity, rendering, complexity, and detail.
More details to be released when I’m not in chemistry.
You must have made the design yourself.

Full rules
Thank you for joining the 2019 Impractical CAD Contest. Your submission should be submitted as 4+ .png or.jpeg renders, and at least one animation in .mkv or .mp4. The animation need not be of the cad file, but should demonstrate how it works.
Rules:
No plagiarism: If it ain’t your CAD, I will find you .
Submit as only the above listed formats.
Your renders and animation will be released for voting along with a description you wrote yourself.
All things must follow the 2019 Destination: Deep Space oficial rules except:
A: Illegal Scoring Actions (e.g. two cargo at a time) are removed.
B: Limits on parts (e.g. unlimited motors)
C: Cost limitations
Scoring:

| Detail | How detailed the cad design is with small parts | 0-5 |
| Rendering | Did you render the thing in jpeg or png? | 0-3 |
| Animation | How well the animation describes the workings of the design and is it in .mp4 | 0-5 |
| Voting | A public poll will rate your design out of 10 points | 0-10 |
| Complexity | Is it totally pointless and against KISS? Could it be a ton simpler? Yes to both is good | 0-10 |
