Aaah, that new-robot shine, just before some freshman trips over it while holding a file.

Getting pictures of the robot at its most pristine, before those programming kids get their grubby hands on it.
Look at that, we can put one pool noodle on it and the reflection makes it look like there’s two. Legal, huh?
It’s all nice and shiny until they turn the field lights on. Then every robot, within 10 feet will be blinded.

You can’t have lights on the robot that blind people, but no one said you can’t shine lights at your robot that blind people!
There are way too many stupidly bright lights on the road that keep me from seeing anything but that one vehicle with the stupid bright lights. Like road striping, other cars, deer, and feral hogs. Stupid bright lights are probably the worst safety theater I have ever encountered, FRC included.
FRC should strive to do a LOT better.
