As usual, the deadline is Sunday at Midnight Eastern.

Go!

They might be in a band.
They might have roadies, and security to handle the roadies.
But they can’t hide the fact that they’re still nerds.

The security team was picked by using a t-shirt cannon. If you got the shirt, you were in.

When they called it “Worlds” they weren’t kidding, our pit was at Madison Square Gardens in the middle of a Guns and Roses concert and the field is in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. And they still only gave us 5 minutes to get there!!!

In a rare photo from the Dean Simmons world tour, we see here the short lived opening act “Wasted Talent” posing for a picture before taking the stage. The band met their demise shortly afterward when their finale stage dive ended in tragedy due to someone in the crowd shouting “Robot!” causing the crowd to back away from the stage right as the band leapt into the air.

Team dinner at the Rainforest Cafe after the regional ends.

When you have Secret Service dreams but a rent-a-cop budget.

Bright yellow T-shirts > blending in

Geordi LaForge’s first prototype VISOR, courtesy of a rock band teaming up with a FRC team.
Only slight problem was that it constantly played Crazy Train while showing 330 righting itself in 2016 instead of the dilithium regulator and the warp core.

We have eight people on the security team, five in the band, we know three chords, there are two words and one slash in this one picture. I fib you not, see?
