And, since I know I will have zero motivation to judge it before next Tuesday (something about building a robot, I think), I’m moving the deadline back to next Monday at midnight EDT.
I have a dream that one day a team from this nation will rise up and collaborate with the best the U.S. has to offer.
I have a dream that one day from the shores of California to the plains of Texas to the potholes of Michigan to the high taxes of Ontario that a bunch of really good robot designers can come together to design and build the ultimate robot.
This goes on for a while…about an hour later…
…and when this happens, when we allow collaboration to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, even on I-75 north of Dayton heading in the general direction of Canada but not really, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s robotics teams will be able to join hands and sing the words of the old FIRST anthem:
WEEEEEEEEE ARE THE CHAMPIONS MY FRIENDS… AND WEEEEE’LLLLLLLLLL KEEP ON FIGHTING TO THE END.
*WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS WEEEEEEEEE ARE THE CHAMPIONS
*NOOOOOOO TIME FOR LOOOOOOOSERS, CUZ Thank God Almighty, WEEEEEEEE ARE THE CHAMPIONS…OF THE WORLD!
