Your other car is on Mars? Uh, you might want to get it back.
Ah, the feel of the open road: 18 wheelers driving by creates a nice semblance of speed.
This guy is demonstrating the new line of fashionable safety equipment, The AUTO-DEPLOY PANTS PARACHUTE (Warning, may cause random breeze between the knees). And coming soon in Christmas, AUTO-DEPLOY PANTS PARACHUTE WITH PORTO-POTTY, for those rushing types that wants to spend more time on the road and not on the toilet (Warning, make sure to clean every 24 hours).

isn’t that a few major traffic violations? No helmet, no brake lights, turn signals, and what no brakes.
“Chicks dig the hog.”
Uh, Dave, the Shriners just called. They want their mini-chopper back. Dave? Dave??? Are you listening to me, Dave??? Fine, keep on cruisin’ with the wind whippin’ through your shorts. Keep daydreamin’ about Mars with that look of carefree bliss on your face, but the Shriners are comin’ after you, buddy. You’re about to have an unfortunate accident, and I don’t want to hear later how you slid under a truck or some other such nonsense. The truth is, a couple of hard hittin’ fez-wearin’ clown po-pos are hot on your tail in those cute mini patrol cars they drive in parades. You can’t see them, but oh yeah, they’re right behind you, just out of range of this picture, and they’re about to take you down. You can mess with the Elks, you can even mess with the Knights of Columbus, but NO ONE messes with the Shriners!
I haven’t felt the wind in my hair since I walked into that wind tunnel!

/me thinks to self “I wonder if Tyler was serious when he said that Steve Irwin got his start this way?”
The first thing that came to mind was Steppenwolf’s “Born to be Wild”, but Bill Gold ended up nabbing that one (why didn’t I respond first when I had the chance (::pulls at hair::). So even though I had to settle with Rod Stewart for my choice of songs, I think it suits the picture well (and besides, I’ve been waiting to use this lyric since week 1):

It’s been a long road getting from there to here.
It’s been a long time, but my time is finally near.
I can feel the change in the wind right now; nothing’s in my way.
And they’re not gonna hold me down no more, no they’re not gonna hold me down…

FIRST: Has it got you addicted to Techno music yet???!

Alright, it’s time to announce the winners of this shin-dig. Judging was pretty hard, forcing me to go back to originality and dry humor (what people accuse me of judging on). First place goes to…
Second place goes to…

And, instead of a burn award this week, I’m going to beat FIRST to the punch with the first awarding of the Safety Award, good for three points (and counted in the stats as the burn award, just because I’m too lazy to start a new column):
Now, this changes the scores a smidge. It ought to look something like this (apologies on how crummy it looks–this was my first stab at doing the scores in OpenOffice):

And yes, I am working on the Stats-O-Rama. I’ll post that in a few.
I should point out that those scores are slightly wrong. I mistyped Genia’s score–she has 18 points.
In fact, I noticed quite a few discrepancies as I went through the data–I wound up using a spreadsheet formula to figure out how many one-point entries a person had. Sometimes, that gave me negative numbers. (I went back and fixed them–who knew that Lil’ Lavery had 15 points?)
So if you see an error, or you think I’m wrong, please PM me. I’m happy to fix any errors that come up–if I know they’re errors.
However, I know you’ll still have plenty of fun with these. Especially the average score column.

Enjoy!
Anybody teaching How-to-make-Billfred-laugh classes? I would of thought that I would do better than 1.3 points a week!
(Then again, I think I missed 5 weeks)
The five weeks is irrelevant. If I did my math right (and that’s a key word, if), 1.3 should be you average score for all of the caption contests you have entered.
You know, I really should post the next one…this is what I get for waiting until I get back to my dorm!
Yes yes we all are waiting. LOL :ahh:
