Hmm thats a really nice hat design, maybe try making it out of cloth and not metal, then maybe take it to a third dimension, sort of like an umbrella. If you do I bet Barry would wear it.
Student in middle, “Shh, if we don’t say anything, maybe no one will notice.”
Mentor in back, “Mum’s the word.”
Student in front, “I don’t think that will work. They’ll notice we all forgot our safety glasses. Is it OK if I wear the sunglasses on the back of my head?”
I can’t decide if that apparatus looks like a crossbow dart, a two-dimensional grappling hook, or the silhouette of a very overweight penguin. Maybe a pope hat.
Guy on Left: “What is this thing?”
Second Guy: “I haven’t seen one these in such good shape. Look how symetrical it is. Notice the lack of corrosion. Look how the Snufaggler fits eloquently into the Waytorcher.”
Guy on Left: “Yes, but what is it?!?!”
Second Guy: “I haven’t the foggiest idea.”
Guy on the left: “Those edges are sharp! How did your robot pass inspection?”
Student: “Let’s just say that the person who inspected our robot is now $1,000 richer.”
Guy on right: “I thought I told you not to mention that!”
[npoe]We all know that no team would ever do anything like that… right?[/npoe]

Guy second to the right: Anyone else think that this bot kinda looks like a face?
Middle man: Woah, that’s eerie. Especially that nose, its ginormous.
Guy to the left: It’s abstract, yet strangely beautiful. I’m thinking something like “Picaso” in statue form.
Here we see archeologists from the Phoenix Seaport Museum examining an artifact recently recovered from the submerged ruins of what is believed to be some kind of sports arena’ in what used to be known as Silicon Valley, before the great 'quake of 2073, when much of the western part of the North American continent tumbled into the Pacific Ocean.
Professor Wornstrom (at left): “Hmmm, Looks like some kind of cooking implement, are those the heating coils? What’s a CIM?”
Professor Farnsworth (center, rear): “No, I think it’s one of those three-dimensional smellovisions we have heard about, can’t you see the handles?”
H Conrad (far right): “No, you banana splits, it’s got to be a weapon, see the knife edge and Fleur De Lis?”
PJ Fry (center front): “I’ve seen these before when I lived in the 20th century. It’s some kind of robotic Wooden Flower thingie.”
Student in middle: “I thought this was FIRST, not Battle Bots?”
Guy with hat: “You see, our Team likes to think, “out-side-the-box” with everything. Even Safety!”
“I don’t know what that is. I saw a cheese slicer like that once but this one doesn’t look like it would slice the cheese very well. You know what we should do? We should send this to the “This Old House” guys. You know they have that segment where the show this device and they all guess what it is. I bet they could tell us!”
