And the picture:

As always, the deadline is theoretically Saturday at midnight Eastern.

Go!

Pete and Repete went down the river in a boat, Pete fell out. Who was left?

Repete.

Pete and Repete went down the river in a boat…

See? Even grown engineers play patty-cake…

It’s never too early to start prototyping for a water game.

And all the people said “Sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down you’re rocking the boat!”

[NPOE]Bonus points if you know what it’s from - someone will within 5 posts I’m guessing [/NPOE]

Kids! They would much rather play with the box the robot came in than play with the robot itself.

<NPOE>P.S. I believe the picture is fake… I found the original in Google Images

The butcher and the candlestick maker in their new vessel, built by the Baker. They’re still waiting for the window-motor drive system to be installed; the Baker’s 2-speed drive put his tub all the way across the Pacific already.

All they need is a sea of Dew and they’re good to go.

[NAE]
It’s from “Guys and Dolls”.

And so far I got nothin’. I’ll come back later to collect my pity point if I don’t get inspired.
[/NAE]

I’m on a boat, robot builder, take a look at me. T-Pain and Lonely Island got nothing on me.

Guy on right: “This seems a little small.”
Guy in background: “Darnit Jim, I’m a programmer, not a boat builder.”

Well, we’ve finished our Noah’s Ark Reconstruction project. Good news is we can fit 2 at a time. Bad news is we still don’t know what in the world a cubit is.

<singing>Yo ho ho and a bottle of glue…

“Hey GDC, how many points is it worth to do this?!”

Row, Row, Row your bump, gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is basically on hold until after build season…

So one day I walk into the playing field and find this…
Everyone is happy that they finished a bump but they are trying desperately trying to design a robot that can go over the object they have constructed. Being one with the bump got them no closer to a solution but it did give them a few hours of R&R while they played. So I, being known for understatement, walk over to the wall and turn the drawing right side up. I smile and walk out hearing “where were you for the last three days?!?” over my shoulder. I smile the smile of contentment for another good day in the life of a mentor and know my job here is done.

“Now someone get me a trident to use as a paddle.”

Our team is so organized that we even have bins for our spare people!

Now that’s thinking outside the bump!

<npoe> sorry about the corny-ness and cliche-ness of this entry </npoe>
<npoe> am I the only one that says “npoe” as “no-po” in their head when they read it? </npoe>
