And the picture:

As always, the deadline is nominally Saturday at midnight Eastern.

Go!

Landmines have disabled more robots than the E-stop buttons have. Purple ones are exceptionally dangerous, as seen here.

You know the rules! Don’t try to balance your robot on the game pieces, or something bad will happen! :yikes:

I hate when we get to competition and we find out we put the wheels on the wrong side…

Sort of reminds me of the famous scene in the movie “CARS” when Luigi and Guido meet the Ferrari. No words are necessary.

The robot played the role of drive coach and pointed the other drivers towards the scoring area.

If only Team Voltage had listened to tonight’s EWCP podcast on drive trains, they would have known that the wheels go on the bottom of the robot.

Behind the scenes of the Dodgeball 2: FIRST is Best, the sequel to Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.

The drivers for Team Voltage didn’t quite understand the coach when he warned that they might trip a breaker.

Instead, they heard “trip and break her”

Team Voltages’ electrical team thought it would be funny to demonstrate the true meaning of the words “Voltage Drop.”

“If we’d only had bumpers …”

Bystander: “Hey, are those the new AndyMark pneumatic wheels?”
Driver: “Sure, wanna see 'em?”

Coach: “While I appreciate your enthusiasm, next time let’s show off the drivetrain IN THE PIT!”

Voltage makes a pointed effort to leave this match to S.P.A.M. and PINK

Well, that’s the last time we will EVER try an “evasive maneuver.”

Team 386 thought that by using a pyramid, they would have everlasting sucess. Little did they know that their robot, like the pyramids would fall.

who knew ants can tip robots

But the really amazing thing is how long the robot stayed on the robotic bull before it fell to the ground. Even the robotic rodeo clowns were impressed.

386’s innovative “Pointer Bot”, which helps direct the vision-challenged drive team towards the goal.

[NPOE]I see Katie only got -1/2 Infinity, so either Billfred is admitting to being old (or maybe half-old?) or he is a true mathematical prodigy by demonstrating for miss-smarty-pants that a rational fraction of Infinity is still Infinite.[/NPOE]

[NAE] And now we know just how much of the week-ending posts Don *actually *reads–Billfred just cut Katie a break because of some dental work.[/NAE]

Team Voltage does their own stunts!
