Purple is as purple does…
The students and parents in the row above are oblivious to the “illegal robot” discussion going on below. All except Grandma - she’s on the phone to the “lawyer-the-rules” hotline.
Andy, if you want to use purple pneumatic air tanks, don’t buy them from your own company white and paint them purple. Instead, buy them purple. If anyone has the power to do that, it is you.
Mary to the guys: No matter how much you want it to, the Hopak Dance is just not going to catch on in FIRST.
Mary: Lookie here, Baker. You told me you wouldn’t get in any more caption contests. And, just like everything else, you’ve dragged me into it with you! What next, you’re going to tell me Rachel has become an Internet meme?
So, Mr. Baker, you know all those times you told us that our robots were illegal because of some minor infraction? Well… guess whose robot is illegal today.

Andy: No problem, we’ll swap out those tanks in no time. Just let me get my wife to go and pickup the replacements.
Mary: Me??? Think again!!!

Andy: Funny… I’ve seen that face a lot since we’ve been married.

In view of Andy Baker’s awesomeness, it was decided that only the best and brightest LRIs should go to tell him that his robot was illegal. As backup, they convinced his wife to come as a shield.
Turns out, Andy Baker is so graciously professional, they could have just sent the newest inspector in the building. Shocking!
We talked to Al and he said we could come over talk to you about the purple tanks ourselves.

All of the 2013 tanks from AndyMark will be purple. Every tenth one will be purple tie-dye.
Not only did Andy’s team not get penalized, for their tanks, but he convinced them that the tanks weren’t purple.
