Team-posted safety signs the next year would have said “Aluminum shavings and other hazards commonly present in FRC pit environments are hazardous if ingested” and had this picture–until the teams realized what the most popular pizza topping during build season was.

Safety glasses to protect the eyes but nothing could protect her reputation.

It is always a good day when you can make a safety person smile. It is even better when you tell them something that prevents them from coming up with a witty comeback. I see some safety tokens in your future.

Oh, geez. This is embarrassing. This picture was taken at the Crossroads Regional on Friday. I know this because we’re just out of frame, to the left, and they’re laughing about our pit.

She’s purposefully ignoring the running students, students operating the robot without safety glasses and dangerous ladder use behind her.

She was right.
