As always, the deadline is nominally Saturday at midnight Eastern.

Go!

He’s making a new set of safety glasses after forgetting where his last pair went. Typical FIRSTer.

“Man, I just can’t get this song out of my head”

♫♫ You put the lime in the coconut, you drink 'em both together
Put the lime in the coconut, then you feel better
Put the lime in the coconut, drink 'em both up
Put the lime in the coconut, and call me in the morning

Whoo-whoo-whoo, whoo-ooh-ooh, whoo-ooh-ooh ♫♫

“Oh shoot, I just marked on the side without the sticker… better try again.”

Using a square to make triangles? This guy is a real renegade.

Who needs eye protection? Everyone knows the real danger is to your forehead!

Student on Left: (thinking) He’s doing such a great job I hate to tell him we are making round wheel protective covers.

The chalk board in the background says “Greatest velocity”. Really? You’ll put your eye out, kid.

Pictured on the left is the rare and nearly extinct brand conscious FIRSTer. Wearing a Hollister shirt makes him stand out too much from the pack and is the reason why that most of his kind have been hunted down nearly to extinction

Busy making FIRST logos with his forehead protectors on.

“Captain, if we stay on this trajectory, we will pass right through the black hole. Assuming, of course, that this map of the universe is correct.”

When asked to cut some lexan, an FRC student doesent think about what to cut, but how to cut. Here we see two overachivers, designing new and creative ways to cut the material. The sad part is that there are no awards for “most creative way to cut lexan”.

Guy on the right: “I’ve cut this polycarbonate piece 4 times now and it’s still too small. What’s wrong with these tools?”

Guy on the left: “He’s been at this for an hour now and still not made anything useful – When do I get my chance???”

And here goes!
