As always, the deadline is nominally Sunday at midnight Eastern .
Go!
I’m sure they figured out why everyone disliked Stack Attack.
You never know where the GDC is going to get their next game idea.
“Hey guys, how about if we made the robots stack?”
“No, I’ve got a better idea: How about we have this giant tubular steel pyramid on the field and the robots have to climb it in the endgame?”
Will work for cheesecake!
OK,
Everyone look up and smile. Yes, I know it is hard when someone is kneeing you in the back but this is going to make the Caption Contest some day, I guarantee it!
“Guys! Hurry up and get on so we can get a six-stack!”
Student to mentor: What if we had a robot climb up to outside of our pyramid and go to the top?
Mentor: That’s crazy talk!

Pyramids are a dime a dozen. One of these days I want a creative team to make a human Sphinx.

This is actually the human version of the 2003 game and what you don’t see is the student behind them running at full speed to knock them over.
Mentor: You see guys, our ladder has gone missing… Can all you really smart students please figure out how to change that darn light bulb?
And then… the solution :yikes:
Problem solving at its finest!
This is what happens when your team is too low budget to have a real pyramid to test your 30 pt climber.
I hope we’ll be able to afford a ladder next year.

Team 611 challenges the Richmond Regional to a game of FRC nim. It’s played just like regular nim, but with human game pieces that can talk back.
Seems like we just found the 11th defense.

Trying to get the robot down from the ceiling. Next year, they’ll think twice about using a grappling hook gun to scale the tower.
They’re trying to find out how many humans can be stacked before they get crushed by their own weight.
At last! (This moving business is getting crazier by the day…)
