(Two Weeks Later ) Ok, we have 5 hours to get inspected for matches tomorrow. That’s the good news. The bad news - fuel doesn’t matter, we have no climber, and whoever said “gears - that’s for the other guy,” we need to talk.
Programmer: “After five weeks I finally got the robot to shoot one ball in Auto. How many do we need to shoot?”
This year they set out to win the “Innovation in Control Award” with their state of the art “Tooth Joystick”. Design so the team can stay on point during those nail-biter matches!
Ya know, this game would be a LOT easier if we could shoot FROM the robot INTO the recycling can…
Now if you reshape that piece of metal, move that motor, and change this design around a little, you’ll have an actual points-scoring mechanism - a gear pickup.

The difference is that I can’t judge a contest with a Monday night deadline on Monday. As bad as I missed the judging last week’s, it didn’t feel right to cut things that short.
