Santa walked into the wrong workshop, but everyone still got toys.

Having Santa as a mentor has its advantages, including North Pole Inc sponsorship, unlimited overnight shipping, access to a limited amount of elf labor, and a small amount of workshop space. It also has a few challenges as well. The workshop has low ceilings. The elves aren’t very good at rapid prototyping. And while FRC has been increasing fix-it windows and stretching the build season, Santa mandates the team stop build at exactly 6 weeks, otherwise his other deadlines may suffer. Overall a wash.

Elves are actually really shy, so they need to recruit humans to do the actual giving.
