While this former freshman was helping with kickoff, some of this year’s freshmen were getting their kickoff into life.
3 Hours Later… “Introducing the 2003 FIRST game, Chicken Coopin’, where robots will have to heard as many chickens as possibly into the center of the field!”
“Um, where are we going to get chickens in New York City?”

At least we found this issue **before **letting the chickens in!
Mentor: “He’s doing such a great job, I don’t have the heart to tell him the ramp is on the wrong side.”
Freshman: There that should just about do it.
Guy on the outside: “And here we have a freshman, showing how NOT to be safe!”
“Okay, I’ll work on it, but I still don’t see how this will help us with this year’s game. This robot prototype doesn’t even have wheels!”
