The paper hats won’t do anything against LEGO Seagull droppings. Not that they’d be any more effective about a real seagull.
You have to start them early on their disappointment of never having a water game.

There has been an FLL water game-Hydro Dynamics.
I keep hearing people refer us as a flock of seagulls, and then laughing. I don’t get it.
Mentor Fritz: “How many times will I have to explain it this competition? The team name was supposed to be ‘Eagles’, but someone at the shirt vendor misheard it, so now we’re the ‘Seagulls’. Sigh.”
