The problem with getting an engineer’s signature is NOT locating a sharpie. It’s locating a part of the robot that they’re ABLE to sign!

Grade Nine Student: “I guess this is as good a place as any there is just what looks like some smudged sharpie marks here”
Students: We’re getting his signature!

Everyone thinks the student in the background is looking at Dean and thinking about how cool it is to have him sign the robot. He is but he’s also looking at Dean’s Sharpie and thinking how cool it would be if he got to keep that Sharpie.
“Wait, where’s the CAD drawing I’m supposed to sign? One of the engineers in this place told me I was supposed to sign a CAD drawing over here, but I don’t see one.”
“Uh, the robot’s a CAD drawing. It’s obvious, there aren’t any electronics or programming on it yet”
“Oh ok.”
