After this picture got out, FRC865 instituted an in-house rule:
If someone else is working on the robot and you want to watch, 1 6-pack of Mountain Dew, payable to whoever is working.
If you want to give advice, 1 case of Mountain Dew.
If you want to HELP, 2 cases of Mountain Dew and as much candy as you can carry while also carrying said Mountain Dew.

This must be a union shop. You have two people working and five supervising.
All was well and good until they realized the robot wouldn’t fit through the gate to get onto the field. Nor through the doors leading into the event site.
Kid with tape measure:
“See this is how big we are allowed to be, and that’s the robot. The silver lining is when we cut off all the excess making weight should be easy”
Here we see Team 865 doing some team building, telling scary robot stories around a roaring fire.
Aaagh, the robot’s not supposed to be on fire!!
Here we see the first attempt at making FRC an aerial competition.
Spoiler. The helicopter blades are tilted incorrectly, so it never got off the ground. It did however get reincarnated as a skateboard ramp during lunch breaks.

What drove the other teams crazy was all 864’s stacks were one high after they knocked over the stacked bins while pushing them.
Cut the red and blue striped wire, not the blue and red striped wire!
Team 865 didn’t realize that once they got NASA sponsorship, they were still meant to build an FRC robot, not a satellite.
Q: How many FRC kids does it take to install a gearbox?
