Student: “Well you told us that when designing things, the skies the limit, and then previously you’ve said to push ourselves to the limit so…”
Student: “We were able to get our elevator to extend to 10’”
Mentor: “Impressive, but I recall the ceilings are at 8’”
Student: “Yes, we need to talk to you about that.”
So if it gets stuck outside the starting configuration like this at competition, do you think they’ll still let us play?
Automatic chairlift v1.1 notes:
Chairlift successfully lifts a 180lb mentor.
However 1.2 seconds to travel 10 feet appears to be too fast.
Scissor lift suggested by 181lb mentor.

You forgot the solid 400lb chunk of aluminum machined on a 5 axis mill
Exactly five seconds before the sprinkler head was impacted.
There was so much water, the student actually shrunk when he finally dried out…
