A simple test to distinguish between a FIRST Mentor and FIRST Mascot:

FIRST Mentor, seeing two Segways sitting near pit admin, think to themselves: I would love to take one of those apart and see how it works; look at the code to see how it performs the stability calculations; maybe I could modify it to make it work better… and walks past.
