Hi everyone, Corbin from team 7017 here and I have a question we can’t seem to find the answer to. At the moment, it seems as if the chairman submission site is down. I was wondering if anyone knew how many executive summaries are needed for this year’s Chairman award. Can anyone help?
Each team will be expected to answer each of the executive summary questions. Each question can have up to a 500 character response. The list of questions can be found at the link below (see the list of bullets underneath “Submission process”).
Thank you however, our main point of concern (which I am seeing that I accidentally left out of the first message, oops) is we need to know if we are required to do something for the “teams older than 5 years” question even though we are a 2 year team?
I wouldn’t expect you to need to answer that question, as you are a team younger than 5 years old. I have never seen the current submission portal for a team with <5 years experience, so I cannot comment on what it will look like when you have to submit your award. It may still have the possibility for you to type something into that question box.

Our team submitted last year (our second year), and the question is regarding relationships with sponsors. Just answer all questions as best you can… you never know, maybe a blue banner will come your way. If not, its still good practice.
How many executive summaries did you have to submit?
As I recall, the box for teams older than 5 years is an optional field. The text says something along the lines of “required for veteran teams” but the form itself will let you leave the box blank (presumably so that they don’t have to build a seperate form for rookies and veterans).
