Description:

Team 6800, ViperBots Valor has organized and will be hosting a two day bootcamp to help teams get organized, think about their purpose and get set for the upcoming competition season.

Our interactive two day workshop will be facilitated by a Hall of Fame championship mentor. This workshop is designed for each team to bring 2 to 10 students with a mentor. We start by talking about FIRST’s vision and mission and how that relates to each team and each student the chance to present on behalf of their team to our group.

Each team will brainstorm all the outreach their team does and we will work together to organize this information so it is to convey within the team and outside of the team. We will formulate talking points for each team to use about their own team that can be used during competitions, in sponsorship presentations or even during community outreach events.

Each team will explore the start of a Chairman’s Essay and we will review the Chairman’s submission process and how it can help your team manufacture leaders year after year. This is a work session that will start out with a little bit of homework we will ask each team to bring to the workshop. Each student should gain confidence and will have the chance to guide their team’s future direction. We will talk about a full team buy in and how to build a team culture that is not robot only.
