Chameleon Vision 3D Greyed Out

We are using a Raspberry Pi 4 with Chameleon Vision and the Lifecam.

We had the 3D option set and then had to reinstall Chameleon. We updated to the newest version, got it tracking and communicating with the robot, and completed the checkerboard calibration. But the “Enable 3D” switch is still greyed out.

Is there some step we’re missing? Is there a known issue that would cause this?

If the 3d option is grayed out that means you didn’t calibrate for that resolution (the one used in the pipeline)

Ahh, yeah, that would be it. We did calibrate it in a different resolution.

I didn’t see that in the documentation anywhere. Did I just miss it? Or is an undocumented requirement? I was under the impression that the calibration just compensated for the lens geometry and would be the same regardless of the resolution.

The docs for 3d are available under solvepnp and there’s also a YouTube video explaining the entire process

Hmm, okay, I must have missed it. I went over that section as well as the video.
