MARS Team 2614 wants to let you know about an opportunity at this year’s FIRST Championship St. Louis called the Chairman’s Exchange (ChEx). This opportunity is open to all FRC teams at Championships, regardless of whether you are competing for this award. Team 2486 The CocoNuts will be hosting the ChEx in Houston, so if you are going to Houston, keep an eye out for information from them.
The exchange will be an open session that allows teams to practice before their official Chairman’s presentation. We will also strive to create a friendly, welcoming environment to exchange ideas and ask questions among teams. ChEx promotes collaboration, diversity, and friendship among Chairman’s teams that reaches beyond the competition.
Teams should be prepared to give their Chairman’s presentation before an audience of their fellow competitors, or simply observe and participate in a collaborative discussion about strategies and tips for being successful with various elements of the Chairman’s Award.
We will be meeting as a group on the second floor (straight up the escalators that are directly in front of the main pit entrance) at 4:00pm on Thursday, April 27. The event might run for a while, so please feel free to come and go as you please. Also of note, this is directly following the “Chairman’s Chat” conference hosted by the HoF teams in Ferrara Theater 1:30-3:30pm.
