Championship Division Preview and Predictions Show - (Now on YT)

FUN will have a Championship Division Preview and Predictions show starting on Saturday 7pm eastern at https://twitch.tv/firstupdatesnow . We have a correspondent assigned to each division to breakdown their Locks, Contenders and Dark Horse teams. We will also provide predictions that I am sure will be 100% accurate on who the winning alliance will be! Join us to let the chat know who you think your locks, contenders and dark horse teams and of course winning alliance will be from each division!

We will be going in reverse alphabetical order for divisions. 4 correspondents will be on at a time then we will take a short break to bring on the other 4 for divisions. Each division is about 12-15 min which should give a rough time frame of when a division is going to start if you prefer to catch 1 instead of them all.

We also have giveaways from AndyMark and The Thrifty Bot for those who watch live.

Quick reference on how we describe each set of teams:

Locks: These are the teams you expect to seed #1 and/or win the division.

Contenders: Are early picks or will seed high and have a great shot to play spoiler.

Dark Horses: Teams that maybe the community at large isn’t as aware of or went more unnoticed this year that could play spoiler or be the ultimate alliance partner.

Thank you to all who tuned in live for our show! To get these up on YT quicker (and cause part 1 had some weird issues on my end) I’m going to break this up into two parts.

Really top-notch preparation by every presenter! A great show across the board.

Also, I agree with the observation that several people made: there were too many good teams to mention. Continuous improvement has become a key element of our sport, not just for the elite teams but for the depth of the field. That makes random qual matches more exciting to watch, makes scouting even more important than it has always been, and makes predictions a bit of a crap shoot. Only inside knowledge can tell how much a given team has improved since their last event. Each FUN host has some of that knowledge but no one has it all, and there will certainly be teams that surprise everyone.

The schedule fairy will have the most to say about seed ranks going into division selections, and after that I expect Einstein will be filled with whichever alliances make the best second picks.
